Expanded Metal Mesh Application - Electronic Products

Expanded metal mesh is mainly used in electronic products to conduct energy or prevent dust. The metal mesh has a uniform pattern, which is used for shielding and isolation. The metal expanded mesh layer can effectively conduct electric energy or heat energy.

Electronic product application range

1. Electronics - Batteries:

   Metal expanded mesh is used as the battery current collection network.
   The battery pole piece made of aluminum, nickel, and copper is welded to the metal mesh, which operates on the ion interaction interface inside the battery to generate electricity and prolong the service life.

2. Magnetic barrier:

   Such as electromagnetic / radio interference barriers.
   Metal conductive layer can be used to construct a Faraday cage that effectively prevents electromagnetic fields from entering the metal cage, isolating electric field and electromagnetic wave interference inside and outside the cage, and forming an "electrostatic shield". As there is no potential difference in the metal layers of equal potential, no voltage will be formed, making the interior safe from electromagnetic/radio interference barriers.

3. Heat transfer/cooling unit:

   Expanded metal mesh with good thermal conductivity is used in heat transfer and cooling units. When the sun shines directly, the temperature of the metal texture between the meshes rises, and the heat rise mechanism drives the air below the mesh to rise, making the surrounding cool air fill the gaps in the mesh, and reducing the ambient temperature.

4. Dustproof effect:

   Electronic products use mesh covers on the audio and microphone with uniform filter holes, which can prevent dust and be aesthetically pleasing.
